2.2.2

Information for setting up

 The superior swivel, the superior link, the breaking bond, the inferior swivel, the inferior link and the
intermediate line are not supplied.
 The superior swivel guarantees the free rotation of the Hook Timer in relation to the Top of the line.
 The inferior swivel guarantees the free rotation of the Bottom line in relation to the Hook Timer.
 Length to respect :
The intermediate line is longer than the whole (HookTimer + Superior link + Inferior Link) to guarantee
the swallowing of the cap.
The whole (HookTimer + Superior link + Inferior Link) is longer than the breaking bond to allow it to
support the bottom line before swallowing.
The inferior link must allow to the box to put itself perpendicular to the line in order to limit the effort on
the cap before swallowing.
2.2.3

USING

 Before launching in water check that the o-ring of the cap is well engaged in the box. Put in abutment
the cap in the box, a recess of about 1 mm appears after releasing the cap. If the ring is not wet the
starting effort is more important, then before testing the hook timer it is necessary to wet it.
 The o-ring avoids untimely startings when launching in water. Minimal effort to start, around 3 Kg in
water.
 At the havline write down the read time on the displayer befored resetting the cap.
2.2.4

Precautions of use

 After long storage period, take off and replace cap to avoid any stick problem.
 The hook Timers must be separated by enough space in order (several centimeters) to avoid that the
cap of a started Hook Timer resets the numbering of another one.
 Do not let the box under sun for a too long period to avoid the battery to heat and to avoid a box
tarnishing.
 After use and storage, rinse the cap to avoid salt retention in the o-ring. In storage the cap must be
locked in the box to avoid the battery to run down.
