Precautions
Never use a USAG 1955 A jack for a use other than that described in the instructions. Never modify USAG
1955 A jacks. Any repairs shall be made by a skilled technician using spare parts supplied by a USAG dealer.
USAG 1955 A jacks are devices made for professionals trained in working on vehicles using lifting means.
- The 1955 A jack is used to lift a vehicle by the wheel.
- Use the 1955 A jack only to move a vehicle with one or several blocked wheels or to help moving the
vehicle in a confined space.
- Move a vehicle using a USAG 1955 A jack only by pushing it gently by hand.
- Never use one or several USAG 1955 A jacks to tow a vehicle with another or drive it using the vehicle's
engine.
- Use 1955 A jacks only on smooth, clean and flat floors. Do not use USAG 1955 A jacks on a slope.
- Never work or insert a limb under a vehicle lifted with a USAG 1955 A jack.
- One or several USAG 1955 A jacks can be used to move a vehicle.
- Never exceed the 600 Kg maximum capacity of the USAG 1955 A jacks.
- In case of doubt, do not use a USAG 1955 A jack.
Use
Lifting:
- Check there is no obstacle or person under or near the vehicle.
- Block or apply the vehicle's brakes.
- Open the jack valve and open the two arms of the 1955 A jack. (1)
- Position the USAG 1955 A jack with both arms on either side of the wheel to lift. (2)
- Close the jack valve. (1)
- Pump the pedal up to the stop. (3)
- Insert the safety pin. (4)
Lowering:
- Check there is no obstacle or person under or near the vehicle.
- Block or apply the vehicle's brakes.
- Remove the safety pin. (4)
- Open the jack valve. (1)
- Clear the USAG 1955 A jack.
