Introduction
Please read the operating instructions carefully and
completely. These operating instructions are an important
part of the product you have purchased. They contain
important instructions for operating and handling the
product. Be sure to observe all of the safety instructions.
If you have questions or are unsure about how to use the
work light, contact your retailer or the service location.
Keep the instructions in a safe place and pass them on to
anyone else who may use the work light.
Intended Use
The portable universal LED light can be used as both a
moveable light and a table lamp. This light may only be
used in dry spaces. Using the light in a manner other than
that listed above or modifying it in any way is not permit-
ted and can cause damage. Life-threatening hazards and
injuries as well as technical malfunctions (short circuit,
fi re, electric shock, etc.) may occur if the safety instruc-
tions are not observed. This light is intended for use only
in private households.
Safety Instructions
IMPORTANT: Observe the following instructions in order
to avoid injury or damage caused by improper use.
Damage resulting from the failure to follow these
operating instructions voids the warranty. Likewise,
Hama accepts no liability for consequential damages.
No liability is accepted for damage to property and for
personal injury caused by the failure to observe the
safety instructions included in the operating instructions
and by improper handling. Keep the instructions in a safe
place. Pass the operating instructions on to anyone else
who uses the light.
The signal words and symbols used in these instructions
have the following meanings:

TIP: Helpful tips
• Keep the universal LED light away from damp and wet
conditions. Do not immerse in water. Degree of
protection: IP 20.
• Do not place the light in places where heat may build
up, such as beneath curtains or on radiators. Do not
expose to direct sunlight. Danger of excessive heat
build-up.
• Whenever possible, keep all objects at least 10 cm
away from all sides of the universal LED light.
• Do not use the universal LED light in potentially
explosive locations in which there are fl ammable
liquids, gasses or dust. This universal LED light is not
approved for use in such locations.
• Do not mount the universal LED light above containers
holding water (such as bath tubs, sinks, swimming
pools, etc.).
• Do not use the universal LED light if it is defective in any
way.
• Modifi cations: Never open the electrical equipment.
Any attempt to do so leads to mortal danger caused by
electrical shock.
• Never throw the rechargeable batteries into fi re. They
may explode.
• If the universal LED light has been dropped or exhibits
any sort of defect, have it checked out by a qualifi ed
technician before using it again.
• Never allow unsupervised children near the LED work
light. Children underestimate the dangers associated
with electrical devices.
• Keep rechargeable batteries out of the reach of
children.
• Never look directly into the light from the LEDs. This
may cause eye injuries.
• The device does not contain any parts requiring
maintenance by the user.

Getting Started and Operation
This section explains how to begin using your universal
LED light and describes its basic functions. Read this
section carefully so that you understand and can use the
functions of the light.
Observe the instructions below, especially the safety
instructions, to avoid using the light improperly and
possible defects. Consult the troubleshooting list if there
are any problems.

Cleaning
