— Lights to remain in packaging until ready to fit in liferaft.
— To avoid inadvertent activation, avoid storage with strong magnetic fields.
Installation
The exact method of mounting will depend on the proposed installation. The fixings of the RL7 assembly
have been designed to offer a wide choice of mounting methods.
Light The external lamp has a dome surrounded by a collar with four securing holes.
Battery The battery case of the RL7 has two fixing loops.
The RL7 system uses a unique polarised plug and socket for connection. Once the two lights are con­
nected, they must be disconnected as shown in the picture below.

Operation
When installed for automatic operation, the light will illuminate and flash when the raft is inflated.
Slide switches on the sides of the battery pack may be operated to turn each lamp on or off.
