This guide provides instructions to install the Ethernet Switch.

2. Product Introduction

The 16-Port Gigabit Switch from DIGITUS® provides 16 x Gigabit RJ45 ports along
with 2 SFP uplink ports with 1 Gigabit bandwidth. Expand the existing network
easily, a backplane bandwidth of 36 Gbps is available. The switch can be installed in
10-inch server cabinets and housings. The power adapter is already integrated into
the sturdy, fanless housing. Ideal for extending/setting up small home or company
networks.
Front Panel
The front panel consists of LED indications and network ports.
LED Lamp
Power LED: The Power LED lights up when the switch is connected to a power source.
Link/Act indicator: The light indicates the network connection through the
corresponding port. Flicker indicates that the switch is sending or receiving data.
