    ENGLISH Important Read these instructions for use carefully before using the appliance and save them for future reference. The appliance is equipped with an automatic voltage selector and is suitable for mains voltages ranging from 100 to 240 volts. Only use the appliance in combination with the mains cord supplied.

  • Page 9 ENGLISH Trimming with the precision trimmer You can use the precision trimmer to shape your moustache and sideburns, to define contours and to cut single hairs. Remove the comb attachment. Push the precision trimmer upwards. If the appliance is switched on, the precision trimmer will start to work right away.
  • Page 10 The appliance does not need any lubrication. Replacement A worn or damaged cutting unit must always be replaced with an original Philips cutting unit, available from authorised Philips service centres. Flip the cutting unit open. Remove the old cutting unit by pulling it upwards.

    Dispose of the battery at an official collection point for batteries. If you have trouble removing the battery, you can also take the appliance to a Philips service centre, which will remove the battery for you and will dispose of it in an environmentally safe way.
