tions prior to installation and use of the Aqua-Pure
Water Filters. Retain these instructions for future reference.
Intended use:
The AP101T, AP11T, AP141T and AP102T Whole House Water Filters are intended for use in
fi ltering potable water in homes and have not been evaluated for other uses. These fi lters are
typically installed at the point of entry, and should be installed by qualifi ed professional install-
ers according to these installation instructions.

tion of this product.
To reduce the risk associated with ingestion of contaminants due to use with water
that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality:
• Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without
adequate disinfection before or after the system.
To reduce the risk of physical injury:
• Depressurize system as shown in manual prior to cartridge removal.
To reduce the risk associated with hazardous voltage:
• If the home electrical system requires use of the cold water system as an electrical safety
ground, a jumper must be used to ensure a suffi cient ground connection across the system
installation piping — refer installation to qualifi ed personnel.
