Usage
•
The platform trolley must be used, maintained and repaired in accordance
with the producers´ instructions. The product must not be changed or fitted
with accessory equipment without making sure that the trolley is still safe.
•
Before using, the operator must read all instructions and warning notices of
this manual and on the equipment carefully.
•
Please do not use a trolley without checking its operational condition.
Keep attention on the rolls, the push handle or the drawbar.
•
In case of parking the trolley you always have to apply the wheel locks.
•
In case of loading and unloading you also have to apply the wheel locks.
•
Do not exceed the maximum carrying capacity. The specified carrying
capacity refers to an evenly distributed load on the complete platform.
•
The loading has to be protected against falling down.
•
To guarantee stability it is important to move the loaded trolley slowly
without jerk.
•
Not to use on sloping grounds to avoid the possibility of overload or loss
of control.
•
Sometimes it can be necessary to drive on inclined surfaces, for example to
move the trolley from one building to another.
•
In this case the inclination must not exceed 2% and the trolley has to be
unloaded.
•
The operator has to wear safety shoes.
•
When transporting loads other persons have to stay away from the trolley
of at least 600 mm.
•
Under other special conditions, the operator should always pay attention
when using the trolley.
