It is much easier to clean the accessories directly after they have been used.
Wash them in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry well.

The body of the appliance and the stand should be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Do not let water enter the appliance or the stand.

Do not use bleach or other abrasive substance or solvents to clean your
appliance as it can be damaging to the finish.

Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid, or hold it under a
running tap to clean.

To remove stubborn spots/marks, wipe the surfaces with a cloth slightly
dampened in soapy water or mild non-abrasive cleaner. Rinse and dry a clean,
dry, soft cloth.
CLEANING THE UNIT AND THE FILTER

Always remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the base or the
kettle. Let the kettle cool down completely.

Dry the kettle before plugging into the mains again.

Clean the outside of the kettle and the base with a soft damp cloth. Do not use
harsh cleaning agents or abrasive materials to clean the kettle.

De-scale the appliance regularly. Use detergent, which can be obtained from
specialist shops, and follow the instructions given.

To store the kettle; wind the cord in the cord compartment on the underside of
the base.

To clean the filter, remove this item from the kettle as follows:
o Open the lid and slide the filter upwards to release.
o Rinse the filter with tap water and if necessary, a soft brush can be used
to remove any stubborn dirt.
o Replace the filter firmly before using the kettle again.
DE-SCALING THE UNIT
Within a standard kettle with an exposed/open element, scale build up may cause
overheating to occur. This will reduce the working life of the element. Since this unit has
a concealed element, there are no cracks and crevices for scale to get a foothold. It can
