Preparing the PS3 wireless controller
• Make sure that the 4xAAA batteries were put into the controller according to the indicated polarity.
Connecting the controller to the PS3
• Insert the USB connector into a PS3
®
• Turn the PS3 on, you will notice a LED on the USB connector begin to flash.
• Switch on the controller by the on/off switch located next to the battery compartment. You will notice
that the flashing LED on the USB connector will turn on permanently.
• Press the "PS" button on the controller.
• The controller is now connected and the light indicates which player the controller is assigned to.
• The controller equipped with a sleeping function. In searching mode, it will in sleep mode if no
connection made within 30 seconds. In connection mode, it will in sleep mode if the controller is in
idle for 5 minutes. Press the MENU button to re-activate.
Using the wireless controller
• The control functions of the wireless controller are similar to the functions of an original PS3
SIXAXIS controller.
