Charging the battery pack

There are two ways of charging the battery pack in MyFridge MF1W:
 Using the supplied mains adapter on an AC socket
 Using the DC connection cable on a DC socket
Charging with the mains adapter or 12 V connection cable
➤ Switch the function switch (fig. 2 2, page 3) to "CHARGE".
➤ Insert the small round plug on the mains adapter or the DC connection
cable into the power connection (fig. 2 3, page 3) on MyFridge MF1W.
➤ Plug the mains adapter into an AC socket or plug the DC connection cable
into the DC socket.
✓ The charging indicator (fig. 2 1, page 3) lights up red.
✓ The rechargeable battery pack is being charged. The charging time is
approximately eight hours.
If the charging indicator flashes red, either the battery pack is not correctly
inserted or there is a malfunction.
!
CAUTION!
Do not start the vehicle during the charging process with the DC
connection cable, as this can cause peak voltages which can
damage the battery pack. Depending on vehicle type, you may
need to switch on the vehicle ignition for the battery pack to be
charged.
I
NOTE
When charging the battery pack with the DC connection cable,
take care to ensure that the car battery is not discharged too
heavily.
After charging
✓ If the charging indicator light is green, the battery pack is charged.
➤ Set the function switch to "OFF".
✓ The charging indicator turns off.
