Fitting instructions
- Fit the fitting brackets thanks to the 3 screws Ø6 x 20 small head and the 3 nylstop nuts Ø6 at the
locations shown on the pictures above. The bracket front left is fixed to the original casing screw. Fit
fasteners on fitting brackets as shown on the pictures above.
- Assemble the belly pan with the central part using the 4 screws Ø5×15 small head, 4 nylstop nuts Ø5
and 4 plastic washers Ø5. Place the silent blocks on the belly pan.
- Present the belly pan in front of the fitting brackets by inserting on the right side of the motorbike the
plastic spacers Ø6 x H10 x L20 between the belly pan and the fitting brackets.
- Screw the belly pan on the fitting brackets thanks to the 2 screws BHC Ø6×30 on the right side and the
2 screws Ø6×20 BHC on the left side, and the plastic washers Ø6. Check the tightness of all the screws.
Once fitted, the belly pan must have no contact with engine and has to be far enough from
complet exhaust system. Fitting brackets' angles may be a little modified in order to adjust the
accessory to every motorbike (do not fold the fixing brackets while fitted on belly pan).
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data of our
painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* The mentioned label of motorbikes's manufacturers are indicated exclusively as a reference to Ermax accessories.
* Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break our plastic accessories and aluminium screws.
* Belly pans will be neither retaken nor exchanged in case of rubbing during a "sports" driving, or during the clearing of pavements, uneven road surfaces ... The fitting of Ermax accessories is planned for a normal road use.
* Move hoses so that they do not fall inside the belly pans. Any deterioration due to flows of corrosive products is not guaranteed.
