7. Twist the wide-neck bottle(J) and rotate it on the pump body( B) in the same way. The breast pump is ready to use.
Double checking all the parts have been installed rightly and tightly before using the breast pump.
III. MODE OF OPERATION
• Sit in a relaxed and comfortable posture. Put a pedal for raising your feet before sucking , it is helpful keep a right setting posture avoid
to pressing to the waist.
• Place the center of the assembled cup-shaped body portion( with the membrane) on the nipple, and flattened the breast. (See Figure
3.1)
• Twist the knob on the handle to icon with one drop to enter the massage mode, Twist the knob on the handle to icon with two drops to
enter the pumping mode. (See Figure 3.2)
• Icon of the suction size is designed with a shape from thin to thick, twist the adjusting knob from the thin side to the thick side means
the suction will be adjusted from weak to strong. ( See Figure 3.3)
• Sucking with comfortable strength.
• After sucking, take down the bottle which with the milk, cover it with threaded bottle connection of nipple set for feeding or storage in
sealed container or bag.( See Figure 3.4)
• Taking the breast pump apart and cleaning the parts after using.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Trouble: suction is insufficient.
Solution: Ensure breast massage pad covers the breast tightly and completely (See Figure 3.5).
• Check the following parts if are fitted correctly and completely: massage pad, membrane, suction adjusting rod, adjusting knob,
handle, suction vacuum valve ( See Figure 3.6).
IV. MILK STORAGE
1. FRESHLY EXPRESSED BREASTMILK STORAGE GUIDELINES (FOR HEALTHY TERM BABIES).
2. Room temperature; 3. Cooler with ice pack; 4. Refrigerator; 5. Freezer; 6. 4-6 hours at 19-26 C (66-78 F ; 7. 24 hours at 15 C (59 F ;
8. 3-8 days at 4 C (39 F ; 9. 6-12 months at 0- -4 C (-18- -20 F ;
• As soon as you are finish pumping, place the breast milk bottle or breast milk storage bag in the cooling bag with ice pack when you
are outside.
• Transfer breast milk bottles or breast milk storage bags to the refrigerator or freezer once you are home.
• The milk may be stored in a bottle or in a special food storage container.
• Freeze only fresh milk, do not fill the bottle completely, and leave some room as the milk volume increases during freezing.
• Mark the pumping time on the storage containers.
• In order to keep the nutritional content of the breast milk, thawing the breast milk in refrigerator compartment, or put the storage
container in the flowing warm water to thaw.
• Stored milk can be thawed overnight in a refrigerator, then gradually heated in a warmer or hot water.
• Shake the container to mix fat particles and the remaining milk ingredients.
• Thawed food is usable for 24 hours if it is stored in the refrigerator.
• NEVER refreeze thawed milk.
• DO NOT combine freshly expressed and thawed milk.
• DO NOT combine freshly expressed and previously frozen milk.
• NEVER heat the milk by boiling or using the microwave.
• ALWAYS check food temperature before feeding.
• Discard any milk that is left over.
V. CLEANING
• All the components can be sterilized, especially with special sterilizer for nursing mother and baby products.
• Clean silicone components such as silicone massaging pad, silicone diaphragm, silicone valve and nipple with soft sponge, because
rude cleaning can easily lead to damage or scratch.
