INITIAL USE / MAINTENANCE
• Familiarize yourself with the safety instructions before commissioning.
• Before use, check the voltage on the device badge. Only connect the
appliance to sockets which correspond to the voltage of the appliance.
• Connect the appropriate hoses of your aquarium/pond/spring fountain
etc. to the pump. Make sure that there are no air bubbles in the pipe
system.
• Observe the maximum permissible immersion depth (see information on
the nameplate).
• Do not place the pump in the dirt or sediment on the bottom of the water,
but in a slightly elevated position.
• Protect the power cable from damage from kinks and/or sharp edges when
laying it.
• Connect the pump to the power circuit.
• The flow rate can be adjusted via the blue control valve. The pump starts
immediately after plugging in and stops as soon as you pull the plug again.
Note: Never operate the pump without the filter basket (1). The filter
protects the pump from dirt and blockages caused by sediment, dust and
dirt. Do not operate the pump in dry conditions.
