Lightning photography is a dangerous activity. When using the LPTM3, user shall take all necessary
precautions under stormy weather. Responsibility of Nebuleo cannot be engaged in case of accident.
Start/stop
Start and stop of the trigger is realized by connecting or disconnecting the shutter release cable into the camera connector on the
LPTM3
Battery level and replacement
LPTM3 trigger works with a CR2032 coin cell (not included). The "battery" indicator indicates a low level of battery. In this case, it is
necessary to change the battery by opening the bottom lid.
Lightning detection
Sensitivity adjustment
A short press on the adjustment button permit to change sensitivity.
Sensitivity increases when the number of LEDs that are activated
increases (a too high sensitivity may produce spurious detections).
Smartphone application
The application can be downloaded on the Google Play Store under the name « LPTcontrol » and on the Apple App Store under the
name « LPTcontrol ».
Warranty
LPTM3 trigger has a 4-year warranty if the product is used in accordance with the instructions and for its intended purpose.
Regulation
LPTM3 trigger respects fundamental requirements and other relevant disposition described in the Directive 2014/53/EC, as
well as all the rules concerning people security, if used in the conditions described at chapter « warning and precautions of
use ».
Electromagnetic disturbance regulation conformity as defined in Directives 2014/53/EC are ensured using a certified module
(Laird Connectivity BL652) and by respecting conditions of use recommended by the manufacturer.
LPTM3 is manufactured with materials and components that respect the RoHS Directive 2011/53/EC.
LPTM3 is covered by the Directive 2012/19/EU relative to Waste Electrical and Electronical Equipment (WEEE). Please, do
not dispose of your old products with your normal household waste. For more detailed information about recycling of this
product, please contact your local city office, your household waste disposal service or the shop where you have purchased
the product.
Warning and precautions of use
LPTM3 is designed to be used under a temperature range of 5-45°C (41-122°F). Never expose it to extreme temperatures.
If unused during a long period, it is highly recommended to remove the battery.
To preserve the aspect of the LPTM3, clean it only with a soft dry cloth. Do not use cleaning agents.
Nebuleo disclaims any responsibility in case of improper use of the LPT M and its accessories.
LPTM3 is designed to withstand rain. It is thus not provided for immersion. Furthermore, any aggression by another element th at rain
water is not covered by warranty.
Warranty will be void if internal parts of the LPTM3, other than battery replacement, are disassembled.
Nebuleo disclaims any liability for damage caused using LPTM3.
LPTM3 is designed to control a camera and for no other use.
This product is not a toy, keep it away from children.

Prefocus activation
A long press (several seconds) on the adjustment button
activates/deactivates the prefocus. Prefocus is active when
the "prefocus" LED is on.
