This manual describes the following versions of the KOBA Vision Vocatex: Vocatex Standard, Vocatex Plus.
The latest versions of the manual can be downloaded from the KOBA Vision website: http://www.kobavision.be.

The device is not to be used in a medical environment.
Never sit on the sliding table.
Never attempt to pull yourself up by holding the Vocatex.
The power supply must only be replaced by the same type (AC Adapter Cincon TR30RAM150) after
switching off the device and removing the adapter from the grid.
The connections have been designed to only connect in 1 way. Never force a connection. The cables are
only to be connected by authorised persons. Install the power supply of the device in a well ventilated
area.
Never attempt to repair the device by yourself. It is dangerous to remove protective covers which are
there to prevent electric shock. You must contact KOBA Vision or your dealer in case of defects.
To avoid electrocution, do not place the device in a spot where it can come into contact with liquids.
When moving the device, the height adjustment must always be blocked by using the supplied orange
screws.
Consult the user manual of the screen for specific safety instructions related to the screen.
Save this manual carefully. It contains all necessary information about your device.
Keep the device in a dry, well-ventilated and clean place. Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or a
heat source.
Never use this device in ambient temperatures higher than 35°C.
This device is designed as aid to magnify and to read aloud documents. Any change of purpose voids the
CE-marking.
Your product is designed and manufactured with high quality materials and components, which can be
recycled and reused. Do not dispose of your old product in your general household waste bin. Dispose of
the complete product (including its cables, plugs and accessories) in the designated collection facilities.
