1. General Instructions
The general instructions for storage systems, material no. 103041, in the current version, must be observed.
National standards and safety regulations must be observed.
2. Special Instructions
Area of the grating must remain free as shown on the type label.
3. Use and intended purpose
The storage system/sump is used for the safe storage of hazardous substances in 200 litre drums and in cans
and other small containers.
Only store substances to which the material of the sump is resistant.

4. Technical details
Design
The environmental containers UC-W and UC-H are manufactured from sturdy steel sheet with lockable wing
doors.
The UC-W model incorporates the following features:

Sturdy steel frame, painted.
The roof and rear panel are manufactured from painted, profiled steel.

The sump is manufactured from steel RST 37-2 (Wst. No. 1.0388) and is fitted with a hot dip
-
galvanized grid for placing drums or containers on.
The UC-H model incorporates the following features:
Sturdy steel frame, painted.

The roof and rear panel are manufactured from painted, profiled steel.

Fitted with wooden feet.
5. Assembly
The ground must be level and suitable to secure the storage system to.

The storage system can be stored inside and outside.

The storage system should not be accessible to unauthorised personnel.

7. Operation
After opening the doors the drums can be placed in the storage system using suitable equipment.
When storing combustible fluids comply with the fire and explosion protection regulations!
Check drums are positioned safely and secure to prevent falling over or down!
Only store drums horizontally on drum stands!
Safe filling is possible over the collecting sump.
Access to the storage system by unauthorised persons is prohibited!
8. Maintenance and servicing
The inspection and maintenance must be carried out in accordance with the instructions of the general
operating instructions enclosed in the annex.
Doors and collecting sump must be inspected at regular intervals for good condition.
Check the firm hold of the screwed connections.
Grease the locks and hinges with commercial grease where necessary.
When replacing parts only the manufacturer's original parts may be used!
