V. Functions
Mode button
The Mode button on the controller corresponds to the
PS button on the Sony PS3 controller. Press this button
for 2 seconds to go to the PS3 XMB window.
Sleep mode
To extend the battery's service life and to save energy,
the controller has a sleep mode, which places the
controller in hibernation:
a) after 55 seconds if no receiver is in range
b) after 5 minutes if a receiver is in range but no games
are being played.
To wake the controller out of hibernation, press the
MODE button.
Charging function
To charge the controller's battery, connect the supplied
USB cable to the controller and the console. The
controller and console must be switched on for this.
Charging time
Charge the controller for at least 30 minutes – the
battery is fully charged after 2 hours at the most, and the
controller is again ready for use.
Information about the LEDs
• Red LED on the receiver
- Flashing: No connection to the controller
- On: Connected to the controller
• Red LED on the controller
- Flashes slowly: No connection to the receiver
- Flashes quickly: The battery must be recharged
- Flashes quickly when a key is pressed: Turbo-fire is
selected for the key that is pressed
- Off: Connected to the receiver
• Green LED on the controller
- Flashes slowly: Controller is being recharged
- Flashes quickly: Fault during recharging
- On: Recharging completed.
Notes
1. If some buttons do not function in the game, check
the button settings in the option menu. They can
generally be configured there as well. Also refer to
the manual of the game in question.
Safety instructions
1. Do not attempt to service or repair the device your-
self. Leave any service work to qualified experts.
2. Do not modify the device in any way. Doing so voids
the warranty.
