The article is intended to repel insects using ultrasound. It is
not a toy!
•
It is suitable for indoor areas up to 60 m
bedrooms, dining rooms etc.).

The article is designed for private use and is not intended for
commercial use.

Only use the article as instructed. Any other use is deemed
improper.
•
Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts
at repair are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to
normal wear and tear.
Safety Instructions

ATTENTION: Risk of suffocation! Keep the packaging away
from the children and pets.
•
Only connect the article to a properly installed socket with pro-
tective ground contacts. The socket must also be easily ac-
cessible after connecting so that the mains connection can be
quickly disconnected. The mains voltage must comply with the
technical data of the article. Keep in mind that the voltages of
power supplies differ from country to country. Check whether
the local power supply corresponds to the articles technical
data. Only use proper adapter plugs, whose technical data
correspond to those of the article.

Do not connect the article to the socket if your hands are wet.
•
Turn the article off and pull it out of the socket
– if you are not using the article,
– if a fault occurs during operation,
– before a storm,
– before you clean and/or stow the article.

Only use the article in dry indoor areas.
•
Do not use the article in rooms containing easily fl ammable
dust or toxic and explosive vapours.
•
Do not expose the article to extreme temperatures, direct sun-
light, severe changes in temperature or moisture.
•
Do not allow the article to fall and do not subject it to severe
percussions.
•
Maintain adequate distance to heat sources such as stoves or
ovens to prevent damage to the article. Do not place any open
fl ames, e.g. burning candles, in the direct vicinity of the article.
•
Ensure that the article does not fall in water or is at risk of
getting wet. When cleaning, dust off the article with a soft, dry
cloth. Heavily laden dirt can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
•
Store the article in an area that is out of the reach of children
and pets and that is not exposed to direct sunlight.For your
own safety, always check the article for damages prior to using
it. Only use the article if it do not exhibit any damages!
•
Do not make any modifi cations to the article. Only have the ar-
ticle repaired by a qualifi ed workshop. Contact customer service
if necessary. Improper repairs could pose serious risks for the
user.

Prior to fi rst use
•
Unpack the product contents and make sure that they are com-
plete (see chapter "Product contents") and check for any da-
mages from transport. If the product is damaged, do not use it
(!), instead contact customer service.
•
Before you use the article, remove all packaging material and
any labels located on the article and which serve to provide
protection during transport or are for advertising purposes.
Use
•
The product emits ultrasound signals, which are inaudible to
the human ear and which repel insects. Pets with sensitive
hearing could react to these signals. For this reason, keep pets
(especially rodents such as hamsters or guinea pigs) away
from the product.
1. Insert the product in a properly installed socket that is easily
accessible.
2. Set the On/Off switch to the AN (On) position to turn on the
article. The power light will illuminate and the article will begin
repelling insects.
3. If you also want to use the night light, set the On/Off switch to
the AN + L (On + Light) position.
4. To turn the article off, set the On/Off switch to the AUS (Off)
position.
5. Disconnect the product from the socket when you are not
using it.
