Motor

Carburador
Su carburador no se puede regular. Las prestaciones del mo-
tor no son afectadas por la altitud hasta 2,134 metros (7,000
feet). Si vuestro motor no funcionara correctamente debido
a problemas que se sospecha sean del carburador, llevar la
máquina quitanieves a un centro de asistencia califi cado.
Velocidad del motor
No alterar nunca la regulación del motor, que se ha ajustado
en la fábrica para una apropiada velocidad del motor. Hacer
girar el motor más rápidamente con respecto a la máxima
velocidad prevista por la fábrica puede ser peligroso y anula
la garantía. Si Ud. piensa que la regulación de alta velocidad
del motor necesite de una regulación, contacte un centro de
asistencia califi cado, que dispone de maquinaria apropiada y
de experiencia para hacer las regulaciones necesarias.

Carburator
Uw carburator is niet afstelbaar. De prestaties van de motor
mogen niet beïnvloed worden op hoogten tot 2,134 meter. Als
de motor wegens waarschijnlijke carburatorproblemen niet
goed werkt, dient u met de sneeuwruimer naar een gekwali-
fi ceerde reparateur te gaan.
Storage
Immediately prepare your snow thrower for storage at the end
of the season or if the unit will not be used for 30 days or more.
WARNING: Never store the snow thrower with gaso-
line in the tank inside a building where fumes may
reach an open fl ame, spark or pilot light as on a fur-
nace, water heater, clothes dryer or gas appliance. Al-
low the engine to cool before storing in any enclosure.
Snow thrower
When snow thrower is to be stored for a period of time, clean
it thoroughly, remove all dirt, grease, leaves, etc. Store in a
clean, dry area.
1.
Clean entire snow thrower (See "CLEANING" in the
Maintenance section of this manual).
2.
Inspect and replace belts, if necessary (See "TO REPLACE
BELTS" in the Service & Adjustments section of this manual).
3.
Lubricate as shown in Maintenance section of this manual.
4.
Be sure that all nuts, bolts, screws, and pins are securely
fastened. Inspect moving parts for damage, breakage and
wear. Replace if necessary.
5.
Touch up all rusted or chipped paint surfaces; sand lightly
before painting.

Fuel system
1.
Drain the fuel tank.
2.
Start the engine and let it run until the fuel lines and
carburetor are empty.
•
Never use engine or carburetor cleaner products in the
fuel tank or permanent damage may occur.
•
Use fresh fuel next season.
Engine oil
Drain oil (with engine warm) and replace with clean engine oil.
(See "ENGINE" in the Maintenance section of this manual).
Cylinder
1.
Remove spark plug.
2.
Pour one ounce (29 ml) of oil through spark plug hole into
cylinder.
3.
Pull recoil starter handle slowly a few times to distribute oil.
4.
Replace with new spark plug.
Snelheid van de motor
Kom nooit aan de motorregelaar. Deze is door de fabrikant geijkt
op de juiste snelheid. Het opvoeren van de motor boven de snel-
heidszettingen van de fabrikant kan gevaarlijk zijn en hierdoor
vervalt de garantie. Als u van mening bent dat de motorregelaar
op hoge snelheden afgesteld moet worden, neem contact op
met een gekwalifi ceerde reparateur, die de juiste instrumenten
en ervaring heeft om de nodige aanpassingen te maken.

Carburatore
Il carburatore non è riparabile. Le prestazioni del motore non
dovrebbero comportare problemi almeno fi no a 2,134 metri
(7,000 piedi) di altitudine. Se il motore non funziona corretta-
mente, lasciando sospettare la presenza di eventuali problemi
al carburatore, portate lo spazzaneve presso un centro di
assistenza qualifi cato.
Velocità del motore
Non manomettere il regolatore del motore, che è stato
impostato dalla casa produttrice per far funzionare il motore
alla velocità più opportune. Far funzionare il motore ad una
velocità superiore a quella massima impostata dalla casa
produttrice può risultare pericoloso ed invaliderà la garanzia
sull'apparecchio. Se ritenete che la regolazione del motore vada
aggiustata, vi invitiamo a contattare un centro di assistenza
qualifi cato, che abbia la strumentazione e l'esperienza
necessarie per compiere interventi di regolazione.
Other
•
Do not store gasoline from one season to another.
•
Replace your gasoline can if your can starts to rust. Rust
and/or dirt in your gasoline will cause problems.
•
If possible, store your snow thrower indoors and cover it
to protect it from dust and dirt.
•
Cover your snow thrower with a suitable protective cover
that does not retain moisture. Do not use plastic. Plastic
cannot breathe, which allows condensation to form and
will cause your snow thrower to rust.
IMPORTANT: Never cover snow thrower while engine/exhaust
area is still warm.
Lagerung
Machen Sie Ihre Schneefräse sofort gen Ende der Saison
lagerfertig, oder wenn Sie das Gerät 30 Tage oder länger
nicht benutzen werden.
WARNUNG: Lagern Sie die Schneefräse bei gefül-
ltem Benzintank nie in einem Gebäude, in dem die
Benzindämpfe an eine offene Flamme, eine Zündvor-
richtung oder Zündfl amme wie an einem Gasherd,
ein Heißwassergerät, einen Wäschetrockner oder ein
gasbetriebenes Gerät gelangen könnten. Lassen Sie
den Motor zunächst abkühlen, bevor Sie das Gerät in
einem geschlossenen Raum lagern.
Schneefräse
Soll die Schneefräse über einen längeren Zeitraum gelagert
werden, so reinigen Sie sie sorgfältigst. Entfernen Sie jegli-
chen Schmutz, Schmieröl, Blätter, usw. Lagern Sie das Gerät
in einem sauberen, trockenen Bereich.

Reinigen Sie die gesamte Schneefräse (Siehe "REINI-
GUNG" im Abschnitt Wartung dieses Handbuchs.
2.
Überprüfen Sie alle Riemen und ersetzen Sie sie
gegebenenfalls (Siehe "ERNEUERN DER RIEMEN" im
Abschnitt Wartung und Einstellung dieses Handbuchs).
3.
Schmieren Sie die Maschine gemäß der Beschreibungen
im Abschnitt Wartung dieses Handbuchs.
4.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Muttern, Bolzen, Schrauben
und Metallstifte fest sitzen. Untersuchen Sie alle bewegli-
chen Teile auf etwaige Schäden, Brüchigkeit und Abnut-
zungserscheinungen. Ersetzen Sie sie gegebenenfalls.
5.
Bessern sie rostige oder abgeblätterte Lackstellen aus;
vor dem Lackieren leicht abschmirgeln.
