Intended Use
The product is intended for use as a mobile spare battery and is suitable for charging the
rechargeable battery of mobile devices (e.g. tablet PC, smartphone, MP3 player, digital
camera, etc.). The built-in internal battery is charged via USB. The product has a battery level
indicator and an LED torch. The product is protected against short circuit and overcharging.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture (e.g.
in bathrooms) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as a short circuit, fire or electric shock. Read the
instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Only make this product available to third
parties together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions and safety information carefully. If you do not
follow the safety information and information on proper handling in these
operating instructions, we will assume no liability for any resulting personal injury
or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) General information
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, impacts, flammable gases, vapours
and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
may damage the product.
• Always observe the safety information and operating instructions of any other
devices which are connected to the product.
• Make sure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• Attention, LED light:
- Do not look directly at the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow the
product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it to use. This
may take several hours.
• Never leave the product unattended during use.
• The housing warms up during use. Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation. Do
not cover the housing!
• Do not store the product in a heated vehicle. Avoid excessive heat (up to 45 °C).
Observe the information in the "Technical data" section.
• Store the product at a cool, dry location when it is not in use.
• Do not short-circuit the USB inputs/outputs.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if
you have concerns about safety.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must be done by a technician or a
specialist repair centre.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
b) Battery
• The rechargeable battery is built into the product and cannot be replaced.
• Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of rechargeable
batteries may cause an explosion or a fire!
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw the
battery or the product into open flames. This may cause a fire or explosion!
• Charge the battery regularly, even when you are not using the product. Due to the
rechargeable battery technology being used, you do not need to discharge the
rechargeable battery first.
• Never charge the rechargeable battery of the product unattended.
• When charging, place the product on a surface that is not heat-sensitive. It is
normal that a certain amount of heat is generated during charging.

Charging the battery
Fully charge the built-in rechargeable battery before first use.
Never charge the internal battery while an external mobile device is being charged.
Before charging the internal battery, ensure that the USB power source can deliver
a sufficient charging current, otherwise you may damage the product.
Do not use a USB port on a computer, keyboard or USB hub without power adapter
to charge the internal battery, as the current supplied by these ports is not sufficient.
Ensure that the connected devices' specifications conform to the product's
specifications listed in the technical data section.
• Use the included USB charging cable to connect the Micro USB plug to the Micro USB
input (3).
• Connect the USB-A plug to a suitable USB power source (for example, a USB power
adapter with 0.8 A output current). The remaining capacity of the battery is indicated by brief
successive flashing of the battery level indicator (1) as follows:
LED flashes 1 X:
Remaining capacity up to 25%
LED flashes 2 X:
Remaining capacity is 25 – 50 %
LED flashes 3 X:
Remaining capacity is 50 – 75 %
LED flashes 4 X:
Remaining capacity is 75 – 99 %
LED glows steadily
Battery is fully charged
• The charging time is approx. 4 – 4.5 hours.
• Disconnect the cable from the product and the power source as soon as the rechargeable
battery is fully charged. The product is ready for use.
If you rarely use the product, we recommend that you recharge the internal battery
on a regular basis.
