    INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SAFE USE OF THE DEVICE General instructions The WSB ZPiezo CAN controller has been designed, built and tested in accordance with DIN EN 61010-1 (IEC 61010-1) “Safety provisions for electrical measurement, control, regulation and laboratory devices”. It meets the RoHS guideline 2011/65/EC and is marked with the sign.

    DEVICE DESCRIPTION General The WSB ZPiezo CAN is a controller may be used for no purpose other than operating the WSB 500 stage attatchment (432339-9000-000) and may be used only with the specified stage inserts. The stage attatchment and the WSB ZPiezo Wheel input device handwheel (432339-9020-000) can be connected to the controller using the associated cables.

     An analogue voltage signal (0-10V), can be used to connect the respective system components to the analogue in socket (Fig. 3/8) on the WSB ZPiezo CAN controller.  The controller can be connected to a PC card or other system components via the trigger sockets (Fig.

    After the usage session is finished, switch the controller off at On/Off switch (Fig. 2/1). If the WSB ZPiezo CAN is not going to be used for some time, withdraw the mains plug of the table-top power supply unit from the socket, so as to disconnect it from the mains supply.

    Überprüfen Sie vor dem Anschluss der Netzkabel, ob die vorhandene Netzspannung mit der auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Spannung übereinstimmt. Das Tischnetzteil von der Steuerung WSB ZPiezo CAN ist für die Verwendung von Netzspannungen im Bereich 100 bis 240 V +- 10%, 50 bis 60 Hz, ohne zusätzliche Spannungs-umstellung zugelassen.

    Das Tischnetzteil mit dem R7B-Netzteilstecker (Bild 3/10) an die DC-Spannungsbuchse (Bild 3/1) der Steuerung anschließen.  Bei Steuerung der WSB ZPiezo CAN durch ein analoges Spannungssignal (0-10V), die ent- sprechende Systemkomponente an die AnalogIn-Buchse (Bild3/8) anschließen.  Die Steuerung kann über die Trigger-Buchsen (Bild 3/4) mit einer PC-Karte oder anderen Systemkomponenten verbunden werden.

     Das Gerät nach jedem Gebrauch mit dem Ein/Aus-Schalter (Bild 2/1) ausschalten. Wird die WSB ZPiezo CAN längere Zeit nicht mehr benutzt, dann sollte der Netzstecker vom Tischnetzteil aus der Steckdose entfernt werden, damit eine Trennung von der Netzspannung erfolgt.
