17. Please be aware, that the cooking plate
becomes very hot during use. Only switch
on the appliance after having placed a filled
saucepan.
18. The heating plating and the saucepan
surface are very hot during use. Please be
aware, that these might still be hot some
after end of use. Avoid any contact with hot
surfaces and do not touch the hot saucepan.
If necessary, use oven clothes.
19. Take care that the oil is not overheated. Oil
may start to burn due to overheating. In
such case, remove the plug from the power
socket and cover the pot with a fire-resisting
lid (e.g. stainless steel) in order to smother
the flames. Do not use any plastic material
as cover.
20. Do not pour any water into hot or burning
oil!

BEFOrE FirST USE

1. Remove all packaging materials.
2. Wipe the heating element with a damp
cloth. Wash the removable parts such as
saucepans, lid, forks in warm water with a
mild detergent. Dry all parts carefully with
a soft cloth.
3. Place the fondue appliance in the middle
of a table on a heat resisting surface (e.g.
marble plate, silicon mat etc.)
4. Now fill the saucepan with liquid according
to the recipe:
ƒ Stainless steel saucepan
oil or stock
ƒ Ceramic saucepan
cheese or chocolate
21. When moving the appliance please be
aware, that hot oil may cause serious burns.
We recommend not to transport the hot
appliance or the saucepan filled with hot
liquids, but to place the appliance at the
place of use and to heat the required liquid
on place.
22. Do not use the appliance with accessories
of other manufacturers or brands, to prevent
damage.
23. Check the plug and power cord regularly for
wear and damage. In case of a fault, please
send the appliance for inspection/repair
to our after sales service (address see last
page). Inadequate repair may constitute a
risk for the user and result in the loss of
guarantee.

5. Put the plug into a power socket according
to the rating label.
6. Place the saucepan on the heating plate.
7. Turn the temperature control button into the
required position according to the recipe
and heat the liquid.
8. Please observe the detail instructions in the
chapter Recipes!
9. After use, turn the switch into the position O
and take the plug out of the socket. Let the
appliance cool down completely.
10. Please be aware that the plate as well as
the saucepan remain hot for some time
after having switched off the appliance.
