Fitting the electric components
1. Connect the sensor cables in accordance with the operating instructions.
2. First push the cantilever arm into a mechanical end position (W).
3. Then positon the cantilever arm at the distance h from the mechanical end
position as shown in Fig. 5.

If necessary, briefly apply current to the brake.
4. Push the sensor switching lug of the
relevant end position from the profile
cover to the centre of the stroke (Fig. 6).
5. Fasten the sensor switching lug directly
on the switch-on point of the hardware
limit switch.
Due to the distance between the hard-
ware limit switch and the safety limit
switch for each switching interface, there
is a braking distance h on both sides out-
side of the stroke length (stroke reserve).
6. Repeat points 2 to 6 in the other end position.
7. Push the cantilever arm alternately from each side into the end position.
In this way, you can check to see if the hardware limit switches function
correctly.
If set correctly, the cantilever arm brakes completely when it passes over a
hardware limit switch and before the safety limit switch responds.
