    Für eine besonders hohe Standfestigkeit und beste Wärmespeichereigenschaften wird die Keramik in einem eigens entwickelten Verfahren mit Quarz und Cordierit veredelt und bei 1600° im Hochofen gebrannt. Das macht den Shichirin zu einem äußerst robusten Kochgerät der allen Anforderungen gewachsen ist. Aufgrund der glasierten Außenfläche ist der Grill leicht zu reinigen.
