Method 1 is suitable for applications where the top of the hood (blower outlet(s) location) is accessible after the hood is mounted on the wall and when a Hestan duct cover will be used. 18” • NOTE: Since Hestan duct covers can be opened for access, they can be installed with the hood and still permit access to connection points. - Page 16 The end of the duct(s) should extend 1” below the ceiling.
