When, after years of precious work, your BETCO ma chine is ready to be retired its entire component materials must be properly disposed of: they contain oils and electronic components. Remember that the machine itself was built using totally recyclable materials.

    PREPARING THE MACHINE 1. HANDLING THE PACKAGED MACHINE The machine is contained in specific packing. Each pallet contains four machines placed on two levels. More than two packings cannot be stacked. Total weight is 70 kg. Overall dimensions are: A : 500mm B : 500mm C : 1150mm 2.

    OPERATION 1. PREPARING TO WORK The followings procedures must be done before installing the tanks: 1. Open the two rear hinges on the battery compartment 2. Connect the connector to the batteries 3. Close the battery compartment Now install the tanks 4.

    OPERATION 3. FORWARD MOVEMENT Forward movement by these machines is done using the brush. When the brush is slightly inclined it pulls the machine forward. ATTENTION: Always make sure that squeegee is lifted when moving backwards, even for short distances.

    AFTER WORK IS TERMINATED Proceed as follows at the end of the work cycle and before you perform any type of maintenance: 1. Turn off the solenoid valve switch (3) 2. Lift the squeegee 3. Turn off the aspiration switch (2) 4.

    DAILY MAINTENANCE 1. CLEANING THE RECOVERY TANK Grasp the tube at the rear of the ma chine Remove the bayonet plug to open the tank Clean the filter under running water Rinse out the tank and clean with a jet of water ATTENTION: Always wear gloves when doing this operation to protect yourself from contact with hazardous solutions 2.

    DAILY MAINTENANCE 3. REPLACING THE SQUEEGEE RUBBERS Check the condition of the squeegee rubbers. Replace as necessary. To replace the rubbers: 1. Lift the squeegee 2. Remove the two knobs 3. Detach the squeegee from the support 4. Remove the tube from the squeegee opening to permit the squeegee be removed 5.

    SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE 1. CLEANING THE SQUEEGEE TUBE Check the squeegee tube for clogging if the suction is insufficient or at periodic intervals. To clean the tube proceed as follows: 1. remove the tube from the sleeve on the squeegee 2. Remove the other end from the recovery tank 3.

    BRUSH SELECTION AND USE POLYPROPYLENE BRUSHES (PPL) These are used on all types of floors and offer goods resistance to wear and to hot water (not more than 6o°C). PPL is not hygroscopic and consequently preserves its characteristics even when wet. DRIVE DISKS Drive disks are recommended for cleaning polished surfaces.

    Eliminer les consommables suivant scrupuleusement les normes de loi en vigueur. Après des années de travail précieux, lorsque votre machine BETCO devra être mise au repos, éliminer convenablement les matériaux y contenus, notamment les huiles et les composant électroniques. Envisager que la machine a été construite en utilisant des matériaux entièrement recyclables.

Remonter le tout ATTENTION: Cette opération doit être exécutée par un personnel qualifié. Un branchement erroné ou imparfait des câbles sur le connecteur risque de causer de graves dommages aux personnes ou aux choses.

Pour ce faire, agir de la façon suivante: Tirer vers le haute le levier indiqué par la flèche pour soulever le guidon Positionner la ma chine en position de travail Adapter le réservoir eau sale au tuyau du guidon par le biais des deux crochets Engager les tuyaux dans les raccords qui sortent du collier du réservoir eau sale.

    TRAVAIL 3. AVANCEMENT La traction de ces machines est obtenue par le biais de la brosse qui travaille légèrement inclinée et réussit à traîner la machine en avant. ATTENTION: Lorsqu’on effectue des déplacements, même courts, en marche arrière, s’assurer que le suceur est soulevé.

    EN FIN DE TRAVAIL A la fin du travail et avant tout type d’entretien, exécuter les opérations suivantes: 1. Eteindre l’interrupteur de l’électrovalve (3) 2. Lever le suceur 3. Eteindre l’interrupteur d’aspiration (2) 4. Eteindre l’interrupteur de la brosse/général (1) 5.

    ENTRETIEN JOURNALIER 1. NETTOYAGE DU RESERVOIR EAU SALE Retirer le bouchon de vidange et vider le réservoir 2. Retirer les tuyaux reliés aux raccords du bouchon du réservoir eau sale 3. Nettoyer le filtre sous l’eau courante 4. Rincer le réservoir et nettoyer par un jet d’eau ATTENTION: Porter des gants pour exécuter cette opération, pour se protéger contre le contact avec des solutions dangereuses.

    ENTRETIEN JOURNALIER 3. REMPLACEMENT DES BAVETTES DU SUCEUR Contrôler l’état d’usure des bavettes du suceur et, le cas échéant, les remplacer. Pour leur remplacement: 1. Soulever le suceur 2. Retirer les deux boutons 3. Démonter le suceur du support 4. Retirer le tuyau de l’orifice du suceur pour pouvoir retirer le suceur 5.

    Eliminar los materiales de consumo ateniéndose estrictamente a la legislación vigente. Una vez que la máquina BETCO que Vd. poseen, después de varios años de trabajo útil, tenga que ser retirada del servicio, hay que eliminar oportunamente los materiales contenidos en la misma y en particular los aceites y los componentes electrónicos, teniendo en cuenta que se ha construido la máquina misma utilizando materiales totalmente reciclables.

    TRABAJO 3. AVANCE La tracción de estas máquinas se logra por medio del cepillo que, trabajando en posición ligeramente inclinada, consigue arrastrar la máquina hacia adelante.     ELECCION Y EMPLEO DE LOS CEPILLOS CEPILLO DE POLIPROPILENO (PPL) Se emplea en todos los tipos de pavimento y tiene buena resistencia al desgaste y al agua caliente (no más 60 grados). El PPL no es higroscopíco y, por consiguiente, guarda sus características aún trabajando sobre mojado. DISCO DE ARRASTRE El disco de arrastre es aconsejable para limpiar superficies brillantes.
