Final work on cover
- Mount the passenger seat (see owner's manual).
- Install the driver's seat (see owner's manual).
Mounting sticker
- Allow suffi cient time.
- The optimum ambient temperature for the bonding is 15 – 25 °C.
- Avoid working in strong sunshine or strong wind.
- Make sure the environment is as dust-free as possible.
- Clean the plastic parts carefully to remove all dirt, oil, or dust from
the surface.
Useful utensils:
Squeegee
Hair-dryer
- Pull the sticker off the paper.
- Position the sticker on the plastic.
NOTE
We recommend that you start in one corner as the fi rst reference
point.
Press down fi rmly at this point and then smooth out the sticker over
the entire surface. Always use one edge for orientation.
- Always move the squeegee from the center of the sticker toward
the outside.
- Pull the backing off the sticker.
NOTE
If there is a kink anywhere, you can warm the material with a
hair-dryer and smooth it out easily.
When using the hair-dryer, maintain a suffi cient distance from the
plastic and select a temperature that will not damage the sticker.
Adjust the temperature so it is comfortable on your skin.
Final steps
Finally, check that the sticker is in 100% contact with the base. If
any small bubbles have formed, prick them with a needle and fl atten
the sticker again in these areas (use a hair-dryer, if necessary) and
remove the air.
