MAINTENANCE

Good maintenance will extend the life of the machine. Prolonged or constant use may require more intensive
maintenance for the machine to continue to function properly.
ATTENTION: Make sure the engine is completely shut down before performing any maintenance
or repair. This will eliminate any potential risk.
NOTE: The machine's bearings are pre-lubricated for the entire service life and require no additional
maintenance.
INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT OF SANDING DISC
1.
Remove the sanding disc backrest.
2.
Align the outer edge of the sanding disc with the plate and press firmly
into position.
3.
Align the disc protector with the mounting holes and secure it with the
two Phillips head screws, tighten the disc protector securely in place.
INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT OF SANDING BELT
The belt must operate in the direction of the arrow marked on the inside of the belt.
1.
The belt must operate in the direction of the arrow marked on the inside of the belt.
2.
Using the Allen key provided, loosen the positioning bolt by turning it counterclockwise.
3.
Lift the end of the sanding belt to a vertical position.
4.
Lock the sanding belt by retightening the positioning bolt.
5.
Pull the belt tension lever toward you to release tension.
6.
Place the sanding belt on the drive and idle rollers with the direction arrows counterclockwise. Make sure
the sanding belt is centered on both rollers.
7.
Put the belt tension lever back in place to apply tension.
ATTENTION: The belt tension lever is loaded by springs; be careful when pushing the tension lever
backwards to avoid injury.
