I SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please comply closely with these instructions to avoid any risk of fire, electric shock, burns
or other injures or damage.
When using this equipment, comply constantly with the basic safety precautions, for
instance:

Take into considerations the instructions, keeping them with the equipment at all
times.

Always install the equipment in compliance with the instructions.

Protect the equipment from sunlight, freezing and damp.

Do not leave the equipment within reach of children.

Make sure that only trained people use the equipment.

Never move of the equipment when it is operating, or when the surfaces are still
hot.

Check that the equipment is properly turned off before connecting or disconnecting
it.

Never use equipment for other purposes than intended.

Never touch the hot surfaces : use the handles and buttons

Keep the cord away from hot surfaces.

Confine repairs to qualified personnel only.

III CONFORMITY OF USE
Use the equipment exclusively to grill steaks, bacon, hamburgers, fish, sausages, vegetable
and also to fry eggs and omelettes.
IV OPERATING MODE
This griddle plate is fitted with a enamelled cooking plate.
The temperature rises very quickly thanks to the heating elements which ensure also a
homogeneous temperature on the whole surface of the plate.
The temperature can be regulated to the thermostat. During preheating, turn the thermostat
on the desired position. When the thermostatic pilot light is switched off, your griddle plate
is ready.
Meat is cooked at a temperature around 300°C.
This appliance is fitted with a completely removable drip tray for juice and grease.
Never use the appliance without any drip tray.
V OPERATION / HANDLING
a) Installation / Assembly:

Place the equipment on a stable and heat resistant surface.
-
Never place the appliance near to a wall or a partition made with combustible
materials even if it is covered with a good insulating material.

A distance of 10 cm from the partition or the wall is considered enough.
b) Initial starting up :
Connecting the equipment:
-
Make sure that the voltage and frequency of the electrical system comply with the
values indicated on the nameplate.

Always check that the electric power supply cable and plug are free of damage.
-
Uncoil the cord entirely before plug in.
-
Connect the electric power supply cable to a socket with an earthed protection wire.
-
The display is now connected.
NB: To connect the display to a socket without any earth protection wire, or to connect
directly to the electrical system, have a qualified electrician make the connection.
