Introduction
The LINDY 8 Port USB RS232 Converter provides multiple external RS232 connections to your
computer. It features eight standard 9 way D male connectors for connecting your serial devices via
USB. It is an alternative to installing an internal serial card in your computer and it supports various serial
devices like modems, PDAs, cellular phones, digital cameras, card readers etc.

Installation & Operation
Insert the provided driver CD into your computer´s disk drive. The CD will start automatically. A screen
will pop up and you are prompted to execute the "Autorun.exe", then click "Install Driver" and then
choose "USB 2/4/8-Port Serial" to start the installation. Follow the instructions on the screen until the
installation is completed, then restart the computer (the installation procedure might vary a little bit,
depending on the operating system used). Finally you can connect the 8 Port USB RS232 Converter to
your computer via the USB cable.
