Remove
Practice Extinguisher Squeeze Handle
•
Check the pressure on the pressure gauge (5), this must be between 8 and 16 bars.
•
Remove the locking pin (3) from the squeeze handle (2).
•
Squeeze in the squeeze handle (2). The compressed air, or the water and/or foam, will now
spray out of the nozzle (6).
•
The extinguishing stops by letting go of the squeeze handle.
•
Replace the locking pin in the squeeze handle after use.
Practice Extinguisher Dead Man's Switch
•
Check the pressure on the pressure gauge (6), this must be between 8 and 16 bars.
•
Pull away the circlip (3) under the red dead man's switch (2).
•
Firmly press down on the red dead man's switch.
TAKE NOTE: this is a simulation dead man's switch. The fire extinguisher will also work if
not pushed in, but for practice it should be pushed in.
•
Aim the nozzle (9) and push the handle down.
•
The compressed air, or the water and/or foam, will now spray out of the nozzle (9).
•
The extinguishing stops by letting go of the handle.
•
Replace the circlip under the dead man's switch after use.

Malfunctions
Problem
There is no air coming
from the extinguisher.

Solution
Check whether the pressure gauge indi-
cates 8-16 bars. If the pressure is low,
pressurize the fire extinguisher according
to the 'filling' procedure.
Mount the hose properly on the fire
extinguisher.

Fill the fire extinguisher with water and/
or foam using the 'filling' procedure.
