Please read and follow this user guide thoroughly before
using the Essential Gaming Kit.
How to charge the ba eries
1. Remove the ba ery cover on your Xbox One controller and
replace the cover with one of the included rechargeable
ba eries.
NOTE: The included ba ery has its own ba ery cover. You do
not need to replace the Xbox One controller ba ery cover.
2. Plug the USB end of the charge cable into the USB port on
the Xbox One or any other powered USB port.
3. Insert the other end of the cable into the Micro-USB port
located on the rechargeable ba ery.
NOTE:
• The LED located to the le of the Micro-USB port on the
ba ery will light up green when it is charging.
• The approximate time to fully charge a ba ery is about 5
hours. Remove the charge cable om the ba ery a er 5 hours
of charging.
• The ba ery will not charge via the charge port on the Xbox
One controller. Make sure you use the charge port on the
ba ery for charging.
