- For safety reasons, the operator
should read the following
precautions carefully.
- Failure to strictly follow these
instructions may result in damage to
the unit or personal injury.
- Do not use the power cord if it is
damaged.
- Do not operate the unit with wet
hands. You may be electrocuted.
- Do not use a power supply other
than the rated current. Doing so may
result in fire or electric shock.
- Do not damage, modify, bend,
stretch, or twist the power cord.
- Do not use the unit in damp or wet
places such as bathrooms. Contact
with water may result in electric
shock or damage to the unit.
- Do not use the unit in places
where oil vapors, such as machine
oil, are floating. Doing so may
result in cracking, electric shock, or
combustion.
- Do not use the unit near heat
sources such as heaters. Heat can
cause discoloration and deformation
of the cabinet.
- When installing the unit on a table,
be sure to leave a distance of at
least 10 cm between the back of the
unit and the wall.
- Do not use the unit as a kitchen fan
or hood. Unfavourable conditions
can shorten the life of the prefilter
and reactor and damage the unit.
- Make sure that flammable
substances (hairspray etc.), sparks
and incense do not enter the unit

directly. Such substances may
cause a fire.
- Do not insert your fingers or
foreign objects into the inlet or outlet
openings. This may cause electric
shock or damage to the unit.
- Do not block the air inlet or outlet
openings. Blocking the openings
may reduce the performance of
the unit (the air will only be partially
decontaminated) and/or damage the
unit.
- Do not clean it with benzene or
thinner and do not spray it with
insecticide.
- Do not stand or sit on the unit and
do not shake it. Doing so may cause
malfunction.
- If you do not plan to use the unit
for a long period of time, unplug the
power cable.
- Use the unit only when it is in the
recommended position. Do not
