Transmission mode
The Corrigo E uses RTU transmission mode (not to be confused with ASCII mode). The parameter settings for the
transmission mode must be the same in the master unit and the slave units, since the Modbus/RTU configuration is not
compatible with Modbus/ASCII settings. The configuration parameter word length is always 8 for the Modbus/RTU
configuration.
Writing values
To modify the Corrigo E output values, set the output to manual mode using a Modbus signal. Then set the corresponding
..._ManSet signal to the desired level. These signals are described in section 5: Holding Registers Note : only parameters
with default values can be modified. These are indicated in the Coil Status Register and Holding Register sections.
Reading values
An effective way to read values is to read multiple variables simultaneously. For example, to read all analogue outputs,
set the Modbus query to the values shown in the figure below. The first analogue output variable starts at address 54
(QAnaOut.AQ1). To read the addresses 54 to 58, set the length to 5. The Modbus answer will include all 5 values in just
one message, making the communication more effective.

NOTE: In the list of variables in this manual the following abbreviations are used:
AV = Analogue value
BV = Binary value
MSV = Multistate value
The names of the BACnet objects are the same for EXOL type objects, but are abbreviated by eliminating the "Cor" prefix
(e.g.: "VentSettings.CorOverHeatFastStop" becomes "VentSettings.OverHeatFastStop", etc.).
