Important! The signal ground (GND) of the analogue interface and the positive (+) output are internally con-
nected. When wiring the signal ground to a control application (eg. a SPS) and the negative (-) output to a
load, they must not be connected to each other, because it will be a short-circuit and high current will flow
through the signal ground and damage the device.
In order to measure the voltage at the load, use and wire the „Remote sense" feature. The actual value output UMON,
represents the voltage on the load and can be wired with the control application to measure the voltage. This prevents
the current flowing via the control resp. measure lines.
