2. Safety-related
information

The following safety precautions must be
observed in order to protect against electric
shock, risk of injuries and risk of fire:
Attention: Inspect the lamp, the charger, the
cable and the connection plug for damage
before each use. Do not operate the lamp if
any damage is found on these! Dispose of
the damaged lamp properly. The device is
only to be used if it is in perfect working or-
der and safe to operate.
Caution, danger to eyesight:
Never shine the light directly in
your own eyes or the eyes of
other people or animals!
Do not make any changes to the
device itself or the charger. Im-
proper assembly may impair the
functionality and can lead to
fire, electric shock and/or injuries.
Caution, danger of fire
Ensure that the luminous area
is not covered. Keep the lamp
away from flammable surfac-
es and objects. Do not expose it to fire or
high temperatures.

DANGER
Never use the lamp in an explosive
environment.
Do not subject the lamp to me-
chanical stress.
Do not leave lamps unsupervised
during operation.
WARNING
This device uses a rechargeable lithium-ion
battery which may rupture, ignite and cause
serious injuries if improperly handled. Ob-
serve the following safety rules:
Do not expose the battery or the device
to naked flames or high temperatures.
Do not make any changes to the
wiring of the battery/device.
Do not drill any holes in the battery and
do not damage it. Do not use a battery
that is clearly damaged.
Do not expose the battery/device to wa-
ter and do not submerge it in water.
Do not manipulate or change the battery/
device in any way.
Do not attempt to replace
the battery.
Do not dispose of the battery/device
by throwing it into fire or water.
Personal injury or material damage may
occur as a consequence of not observing
these warning notices.

3. Start-up
The lamp is made up of two lamp units. The
light functions can be switched on in succes-
sion in the following sequence via the switch:
50% light output, 100% light output, spot
light, OFF . The state of the battery is displayed
via the LED display on the rear of the lamp.
4. Charging
The device must be switched off during
charging. Plug the charger provided in the
scope of delivery into the charging socket
and connect to a power source intended
for this purpose. The status of the charging
process is displayed via an LED display on
the rear. If all LEDs are lit, the lamp is fully
charged. Then disconnect the charger from
the power source and disconnect the charg-
ing plug from the charging socket.
5. Maintenance
The illuminants and the battery are not inter-
changeable! Clean the lamp with a dry, lint-
free cloth when the lamp is switched off and
is not connected to a power source. Do not
use any abrasive cleaning agents, solvents
or similar.

6. Transport and storage
The following storage conditions apply for
the device:
Must be stored in a dry and
dust-free area
Must not be exposed to any liquids or
aggressive media
Must not be stored in the open
Storage temperature -5°C to + 25°C
7. Disposal
Ensure that batteries are disposed
of properly.
