Addressing
Assign a free address between 1 and 31. At the factory the address
is set to 0.
Addressing with the addressing unit AC1143 or AC1144
When mounted and wired the module can be addressed by connec-
ting the addressing cable (E70213) to the implemented addressing
socket.
For the addressing of the SmartLogic module the operating vol-
tage must be applied to the terminals E+/E-.

Electrical connection

Disconnect the supply circuits for the actuators from power!
Connect the sensors and actuators with the terminals.
The terminals of the sensor supply I+/I- are electrically connected
to E+/E-.
The AS-i potential A+/A- must not be electrically connected to
other terminals.
Operation
Check the safe functioning of the unit. Display by LEDs:
• LED green: voltage supply via the AS-i network o. k.
• LED yellow: input/output switched
• LED red: AS-i communication error
• LED red flashing: peripheral error, e.g. no auxiliairy voltage, output
overloaded
When delivered the watchdog is active.
