5. Preparation for use

1. Plug the probe into the probe connection on the endoscope.
2. Screw the lock nut clockwise on to the thread.
3. Power on the endoscope.
▶ The probe is now ready to use.

6. Installation

6.1. MOUNTING THE MIRROR

70° screw-on probe mirror supplied.
1. Unscrew the thread protective ring anti-clockwise from the probe head.
2. Screw back the mounting ring clockwise on the probe head.
3. Screw the mirror clockwise on to the probe head.
NOTICE! Do not screw the mirror on too tightly, lest you damage the thread.
4. Align the mirror to the side LED so that it does not cover the LED.
5. Screw the mounting ring on the probe head forward anti-clockwise until the mirror and
mounting ring sit snugly against each other.
6. Press the "LED mode" operating button to activate the side LED.
▶ The side LED must not be covered by the mirror.
7. After use, remove the mirror and screw on the thread protective ring again.

7. Operation

7.1. BENDING THE PROBE HEAD

The arrow marking on the rotary wheel indicates the direction of the probe.

ü Probe straight, no bend.
1. To bend the probe head to the right, turn the rotary wheel clockwise.
2. To bend the probe head to the left, turn the rotary wheel anti-clockwise.
NOTICE! Do not turn the rotary wheel beyond the stop.
3. To lock the set bending angle of the probe head, turn the rotary wheel lock clockwise to the
stop.
4. After use, fit the cover cap to the probe head.

8. Cleaning

Disconnect the probe from the video endoscope. No liquids must be allowed to penetrate the
connections. Clean the camera lens with a cotton bud and a small amount of cleaning naphtha.
Clean the rest of the probe with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use alcoholic, abrasive or solvent-
based cleaning agents.
