Dear Customer,
Please read this leaflet carefully before using your
Earwear EW 1521 for the first time and store it in
your case. It provides important information on
your product.
Earwear EW 1521 is highly comfortable to wear,
and also ensures your comfort when diving, snor-
kelling, swimming or surfing.
General information:
Earwear EW 1521 is a comfortable, customised
earmould.
It uses a small hole in the ear canal section to
limit the amount of water entering your ear canal,
which means the temperature in your ears stays
at a comfortable warm temperature for longer. The
slim design of Earwear EW 1521 also makes the
product easy to wear under a diving hood if
necessary.
Earwear EW 1521 is customised for the ears of
the purchaser and is therefore only suitable for
use by him/her.
When used correctly, Earwear EW 1521 will not
impact on pressure equalisation.
Use:
Insertion: Take your Earwear EW 1521 between
your thumb and index finger and insert it into your
ear canal. Use gentle pressure to move it to its final
position.
Removal: Hold the outer section with your thumb
and index finger and pull carefully so that the ear-
mould comes loose from the ear canal.
Maintaining the functionality of your Earwear EW
1521:
Check your Earwear EW 1521 regularly for any
damage.
Earwear EW 1521 should be checked in–ear by
an expert on an annual basis, so as to ensure
that they are fully effective.
It is essential to ensure that your ear is free of
earwax (cerumen). If it is not, the earwax may
seal the aperture when you insert the earplug,
and prevent you from equalising.
We recommend that you replace your Earwear
EW 1521 at least every four years.
Cleaning and care:
Clean your Earwear EW 1521 after every use
using soap and water to remove earwax (cerumen)
and any other dirt, using a damp cloth or
antibacterial wipes.
Certain chemical substances can damage this
product. Avoid contact with strong chemicals,
cleaning agents or solvents.
Your customer service associate will inform you
about recommended care products.
Please use the case provided to store your
product.
Warning and safety information:
Check the aperture of your Earwear EW 1521
before and after each use to ensure it is not
blocked with cerumen, and if necessary clean it
immediately.
Caution: If an aperture is blocked it will prevent you
from being able to equalise.
If you notice any pressure marks or experience
any feeling of pressure, please check the fit of
your earplug.
Should you suffer any allergic reaction, such as
red or itchy skin etc. please stop using your
Earwear EW 1521 and seek medical advice about
the cause of the problem.
Keep away from toddlers. Risk of asphyxiation if
swallowed.
If you sustain an ear injury you should refrain
from using your Earwear EW 1521 and we would
recommend you seek medical advice.
We recommend you complete an open water
diving course before using the product underwa-
ter.
We also advise you to have your ears cleaned by
a medical professional before using Earwear
EW 1521.
Should you encounter any problems with
equalising, return slowly to the surface, making
a safety stop if necessary. In this event, you
should under no circumstances continue your
dive or dive deeper.
Contact with chemicals or alcohol can damage
your earplugs. Additional information on this
topic is available from the manufacturer on
request.
Earwear EW 1521 components may be damaged
if they come into contact with sharp objects.
The functionality of your earplugs may be
impaired if these guidelines are not followed.
Sudden or rapid removal of Earwear EW 1521
from your ear canal may damage your eardrum.
Please note that your Earwear EW 1521 may
impede your perception of potential hazards and
warning signals, so please pay special attention
to your surroundings when using them.

Warranty claims shall be governed by statutory
provisions. The warranty excludes all damage at-
tributable to improper use, and non-compliance

bitte lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsinformation vor der
ersten Anwendung Ihrer Earwear EW 1521 genau
durch und bewahren Sie sie im Etui auf. Sie liefert
Ihnen wichtige Informationen zu Ihrem Produkt.
Earwear EW 1521 bietet hervorragenden Trage-
komfort und sorgt für zusätzlichen Komfort beim
Tauchen, Schnorcheln, Schwimmen und auch Sur-
fen.
Allgemeines:
Earwear EW 1521 ist eine individuell angepasste
Komfort-Otoplastik für Ihre Ohren.
Durch die kleine Bohrung im Gehörgangsteil
Ihrer Earwear EW 1521 wird der Wassereintritt
in den Gehörgang reduziert, wodurch etwa die
Temperatur im Ohr länger angenehm warm
bleibt. Durch das dünne Design der Earwear Dive
Line ist es zudem problemlos möglich, diese
gegebenenfalls unter einer Tauchhaube zu
tragen.
Earwear EW 1521 wird individuell an die Ohren
des Erwerbers angepasst und kann ihren Nutzen
nur bei diesem entfalten.
Bei korrekter Verwendung hat die Earwear Dive
Line keinen Einfluss auf den Druckausgleich.
Anwendung:
Einsetzen: Nehmen Sie die Earwear EW 1521 zwi-
schen Daumen und Zeigefinger und setzen Sie
diese in den Gehörgang ein. Bringen Sie sie mit
leichtem Druck in die Endposition.
Entnehmen: Greifen Sie mit Daumen und Zeigefin-
ger an die äußere Form und ziehen Sie vorsichtig
daran, damit sich die Otoplastik aus dem Gehör-
gang lockert.
Beeinträchtigung der Funktion Ihrer Earwear EW
1521:
Kontrollieren Sie Ihre Earwear EW 1521 regel-
mäßig auf Beschädigungen.
Die Earwear EW 1521 sollte jedes Jahr von
einem Fachmann auf die korrekte Passform im
Ohr geprüft werden, damit sie ihren vollen Nutzen
entfalten kann.
Es ist unerlässlich, dass Ihr Ohr frei von Ohren-
schmalz (Cerumen) ist. Beim Einsetzen kann
dieses ansonsten die Öffnung verschließen und
den Druckausgleich verhindern.
Wir empfehlen generell, dass Sie Ihre Earwear
EW 1521 nach spätestens vier Jahren ersetzen.
Reinigung und Pflege:
Reinigen Sie Ihre Earwear EW 1521 nach jeder
Anwendung mit mildem Seifenwasser, um
Ohrenschmalz
Verunreinigungen zu entfernen. Sie kann mit
einem feuchten Tuch oder antibakteriellen
Reinigungstüchern gesäubert werden.
Dieses Produkt kann durch bestimmte chemi-
sche Substanzen Schaden nehmen. Vermeiden
Sie den Kontakt mit scharfen Chemikalien, Putz-
oder Lösungsmitteln.
Informieren Sie sich bei Ihrem Kundenberater
über speziell empfohlene Pflegeprodukte.
Verwenden Sie bitte zur Aufbewahrung das mit-
gelieferte Etui.
Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise:
Die Öffnung Ihrer Earwear EW 1521 ist vor und
nach jeder Benutzung auf Verschluss mit
Cerumen zu kontrollieren. Bei Bedarf ist diese
umgehend zu reinigen.
Achtung: Eine verstopfte Öffnung beeinträchtigt
die Durchführung eines Druckausgleiches!
Bei Druckstellen und Druckgefühl überprüfen Sie
bitte den Sitz Ihres Produktes.
Sollten allergische Reaktionen wie Hautrötungen,
Jucken etc. auftreten, bitte die Earwear EW 1521
nicht weiter verwenden und die Ursache mit
einem Facharzt abklären.
Von Kleinkindern fernhalten, da beim Verschlu-
cken Erstickungsgefahr besteht.
Bei Verletzungen im Ohr darf die Earwear Dive
Line nicht mehr verwendet werden und es wird
empfohlen, den nächsten Facharzt aufzusuchen.
Für den Taucheinsatz (Scuba Diving) empfehlen
wir die Absolvierung eines Open Water Diver-
Kurses.
Es wird dazu geraten, die Ohren vor der geplanten
Verwendung der Earwear EW 1521 von einem
Facharzt reinigen zu lassen.
Sollten bei der Durchführung des Druckausglei-
ches Probleme auftreten, kehren Sie langsam –
gegebenenfalls nach Durchführung eines „Safety
Stops" – an die Wasseroberfläche zurück.
Keinesfalls sollten Sie in diesem Fall den

(Cerumen) und andere
Tauchgang fortsetzen und in größere Tiefen
abtauchen.
Durch den Kontakt mit Chemikalien oder Alkohol
kann das Produkt Schaden nehmen. Weitere
Angaben können beim Hersteller angefordert
werden.
Die Bestandteile der Earwear EW 1521 können
beschädigt werden, wenn sie in Kontakt zu
scharfen Gegenständen geraten.
Bei Nichtbefolgung der gegebenen Empfehlungen
kann die Funktion beeinträchtigt werden.
Plötzliches oder schnelles Entfernen der Earwear
EW 1521 aus dem Gehörgang kann das
Trommelfell beschädigen.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Earwear EW 1521
Ihre Wahrnehmung von möglichen Gefahren
oder Warnsignalen beeinträchtigen kann. Achten
Sie deshalb bei deren Verwendung besonders
auf mögliche Gefahren und Gefahrenhinweise in
Ihrem Umfeld.
Service und Gewährleistung:
Die Gewährleistungsansprüche richten sich nach
den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen. Ausgenommen
sind Schäden, die auf unsachgemäßen Gebrauch
und die Nichteinhaltung der Pflegevorschriften zu-

des informations importantes à propos du produit
que vous venez d'acquérir.
Earwear EW 1521 vous offre un excellent confort de
port et vous procure encore plus de confort pour la
plongée, le snorkeling, la natation et le surf.
Généralités :
Earwear EW 1521 est une otoplastique de
confort fabriquée sur mesure pour vos oreilles.
Le petit trou percé dans le conduit auditif de
votre Earwear EW 1521 réduit l'entrée d'eau dans
le conduit auditif, si bien que la température
reste plus longtemps agréable dans l'oreille.
Grâce à sa petite taille, l'Earwear EW 1521 peut
se porter sans problème sous une cagoule de
plongée.
Earwear EW 1521 est adaptée sur mesure aux
oreilles de l'acquéreur, et ne peut faire
pleinement son effet que sur celui-ci.
Correctement utilisée, Earwear EW 1521 n'a
aucune influence sur l'égalisation de la pression.
Utilisation :
Placer la protection : prenez l'Earwear EW 1521
entre le pouce et l'index et insérez-la dans le
conduit auditif. Mettez-la dans sa position défini-
tive par une légère pression.
Enlever la protection : saisissez la partie extérieure
entre le pouce et l'index et tirez prudemment pour
que l'otoplastique se desserre du conduit.
Pour éviter un mauvais fonctionnement de votre
Earwear EW 1521 :
Contrôlez régulièrement votre Earwear EW 1521
pour vérifier si elle n'est pas endommagée.
Faites vérifier l'Earwear EW 1521 chaque année
par un spécialiste pour contrôler si elle est
toujours parfaitement adaptée à vos oreilles, afin
qu'elle puisse être pleinement efficace.
Il est indispensable que votre oreille ne soit pas
encombrée de cérumen. Celui-ci peut boucher
l'ouverture lorsque vous placez l'Earwear Dive
Line, et empêcher l'égalisation de pression.
Nous conseillons généralement de remplacer
l'Earwear EW 1521 après quatre ans maximum.
Nettoyage et entretien :
Contrôlez l'ouverture de votre Earwear EW 1521
avant et après chaque utilisation pour vérifier si elle
n'est pas bouchée par du cérumen. Si
nécessaire, la nettoyer tout de suite.
Attention : une ouverture bouchée nuit à l'égalisa-
tion de la pression !
En cas de pression et de sensation de pression,
veuillez vérifier le positionnement de votre
produit.
En cas de réactions allergiques telles que
rougeurs de la peau, démangeaisons etc.,
veuillez ne pas continuer à utiliser l'Earwear Dive
Line et consultez un médecin spécialisé pour en
rechercher la cause.
Tenir hors de portée des enfants en bas âge, car
il y a danger d'étouffement en cas d'ingestion.
En cas de blessure à l'oreille, ne plus utiliser
l'Earwear EW 1521 ; nous vous recommandons
de vous rendre chez le médecin spécialisé le plus
proche.
Pour la plongée (plongée sous-marine), nous
vous recommandons de suivre une formation
Open Water Diver.
Nous recommandons également
nettoyer les oreilles par un médecin spécialisé
avant l'utilisation prévue d'Earwear EW 1521.
Si des problèmes surgissent lors de l'égalisation
de la pression, revenez lentement à la surface de
l'eau – le cas échéant après avoir effectué
un «arrêt de sécurité». Ne continuez en aucun
cas à plonger, ni à plonger plus profondément.
