Operation

3.1 Intended use

This appliance is intended for private domestic use
only and is designed to prepare food only.

3.2 Initial use

Prior to first use, smoke can develop due to
production residues, use the appliance without
food. Ensure for proper room ventilation.

3.3 Toasting

1. Connect the power plug into the wall socket.
2. Insert only one slice of bread in each of the two
bread slots (4).
3. Using the browning control (9) select the desired
degree of browning.

the left will give the lightest degree
of browning and to the right the
darkest. The browning degree can
vary depending on the type of bread.
4. Press the start lever (5) down until it automatically
snap into place.
5. The toasting process begins. The indicator light
of the stop button (6) illuminates during the
toasting process.
WARNING: If the power plug is

not connected into the wall socket,
the start lever (5) does not snap into
place.
6. The appliance automatically switches off as soon
as the set degree of browning has been reached.
– Press the operation you prefer to use.
– The indicator light of the selected button
illuminates during the toasting process.
– The start lever (5) springs back up and the stop
button (
) (6) light goes off. The toast slices
are pushed upwards and can be taken out of
the toaster.

To cancel the toasting process before

and the toast slices can be taken out

After the start lever (5) springs back
up, you can use high-lift function by
pushing the start lever (5) upwards.
7. Disconnect the appliance from the wall socket.

3.3.1 Defrost button

Follow the steps from 1 to 6 at the "Toasting"
section and press.

3.3.2 Reheat button

Follow the steps from 1 to 6 at the "Toasting"
section and press.

3.3.3 Stop button

To cancel the toasting process before it has
finished, press the stop button (6).

3.4 Warming up buns

This toaster is equipped with an integrated
warming rack (3).

Do not toast bread and warm up buns
at the same time.

Do not warm up toast slices on the
warming rack (3). The toast slices
hinder sufficient ventilation.
1. Press down warming rack lever (3) until it snaps
into place.
2. Position the buns on the rack.
3. Connect the power plug into the wall socket.
4. Using the browning control (9) select the desired
degree of warming.
