3. Installation

3.2 Connecting the PDU

Connect Input Plug Adapter (Optional -
Model PDUMNH20 Only): The PDU includes
an adapter that converts the L5-20P input plug to
a 5-20P input plug. Connecting the adapter is
optional. The PDU will function normally without
connecting the adapter.

Connect the PDU to a Grounded Outlet:
Insert the plug directly into a properly grounded
AC outlet.

Connect Equipment to PDU: Do not exceed
the load rating of the PDU. The total electrical
current used by the PDU will be displayed on the
digital meter in amperes.
10 Cord Retention (Optional): If you attached
the cord retention shelves, use them to secure
equipment power cords. Attach each cord to the
retention shelf by looping the cord and securing it
to an attachment point with one of the included
cable ties. Make sure that each equipment power
cord can be unplugged from the PDU without
removing the cable tie.
