GROUNDED PLUG
To reduce the risk of electric shock this appliance has a grounded plug. (2 blades
and 1 pin) If the plug does not fit fully into the electrical outlet contact a qualified
electrician. do not modify the plug in any way or use an adaptor.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Plug power cord into 120V AC wall outlet. Operate the toaster once or twice without
bread for 3-4 minutes to burn off any residue from the manufacturing process.
HOW TO USE
1. Plug power cord into wall outlet.
2. Turn power switch to ON (denoted by 'I'). Red light will illuminate.
3. Using stay-cool knobs, pull toaster doors down until they lie flat. Place one
slice of bagel, english muffin, or desired bread type onto each toaster door.
4. Close toaster doors completely. Doors should be vertical.
5. After approximately 1-1
check if bread has reached desired browning level. If not, close doors com-
pletely to continue browning process. TOASTER WILL NOT SHUT OFF ONCE
TOASTING IS COMPLETE. Check bread every 20-30 seconds.
6. \When bread has reached desired colour, open doors completely using
stay-cool knobs (doors should lay flat). Bread will flip over automatically
exposing untoasted side. Close door completely to brown untoasted side.
If single-sided browning is desired (as in case of bagels), remove bread
carefully. EXTREME CAUTION MUST BE TAKEN WHEN REMOVING BREAD.
Toaster doors will be hot. DO NOT TOUCH.
IMPORTANT: Due to wide variances in size, some bread, bagels or rolls may
not turnover when toaster doors are opened. USE EXTREME CAUTION AS
TOASTER DOORS AND BREAD ARE HOT.
7. Browning of second side will now take less time as elements have already
heated up. After approximately 45 seconds – 1 min., open doors slightlyusing
stay-cool knobs to check if bread has reached desired browning level. If not, close
doors completely to continue browning process. Check bread every 20-30 seconds. 3
