Auto Scene Advance – This feature causes the controller to automatically change through
your preset scenes, starting with Scene 6 and going through to Scene 13. At the end of the
cycle, it goes back to Scene 6 and continues.
The timing knob directly above the switch for this feature controls how frequently scene
changes occur. It offers scene-advance speeds from 3 seconds up to 10 minutes. At its cen-
ter position, it is calibrated to approximately 1 minute intervals. This mode does not cancel
the effects mode, blackout or all on. Effects will continue to operate in this mode. This allows
effects an auto scene advance to operate simultaneously. Channels that are not selected
by the effects patch will light according to the active scene as selected by the auto scene
advance.
Fade Rate – When scenes are changed, they fade from one color to the next; this controls
the duration of that fade.
Effects Speed – This knob controls the speed at which effects operate. This control also
affects the fade rate, including the fade rate of audio effects.

The Effects Patch control determines which channels will be controlled by the effects. This allows
the user to send effects to certain channels while leaving others as determined by the active
scene. Setting the Patch control to ALL CHANNELS will send effects to all channels. Other posi-
tions will send effects to one or more light bars, leaving the remaining bars controlled by the active
scene.
The positions marked Bar 1, 2, 3 TMB and Bar 1, 2, 3 TBb are intended to be used with the four
channel audio effect. TMB is Treble, Mid, Bass, in this case 90 Hz bass. TBb is Treble, bass and
bass. B is 90 Hz bass and b is 45 Hz bass. In most music the 90 Hz bass hits first and the 45 Hz
is the fade out of the bass. In some music these will be separate beats. Some music will have very
little 45 Hz content and will not often trigger the blue lights. Each Bar is one band and all the lights
on one bar go on together.
The patch position marked Ch. 1, 2, 7, 8 spreads the effects over two light bars leaving two
lights on each to illuminate per-formers. The position marked Bar1, Bar2, 9-12 is intended for use
with audio effects, it will flash one whole bar with the 90 Hz bass, another bar with 45 Hz bass
and the remaining bar (if used) will show 3 or 4 channels depending on the audio effect selected.
The Position marked Ch. 3, 4, 5, 6, 9-12 sends effects to all but four lights.

The effects on the left hand side of the control and bottom are not affected by the audio input.
The effects on the right hand side and top of the control are affected by the audio input. The four-
band and three-band audio are full range effects, while the remainder of the audio effects are 90
Hz only.

There are four non-audio Chase functions differing only in color. The colors chase has 7 colors
so that each head flashes in many colors before repeating. The speed of the non-audio chases
is controlled by the effects speed control. The fade rate varies with the effects speed adjust. The
lower end of the chase speeds can be used as a color fade effect, changing colors ever 20 sec-
onds but with only one light one at a time.
