This electric kettle is intended for domestic
use only and is not for commercial use.
Safety information

Risk of electric shock
Only connect and operate the electric kettle in
accordance with the information on the rating
plate.
Keep children away from the kettle.
Do not use if the power cable or appliance
show signs of damage.
Unplug the kettle after each use or in the event
of a fault.
To prevent damage, the kettle may only be
repaired by members of our after sales
service, e.g. replacement of a damaged power
cable.
Do not let the power cable:
- come into contact with hot parts
- be pulled over sharp edges
- be used to carry the kettle.
Do not place the base or jug on or near hot
surfaces, e.g. oven hotplates.
Do not overfill the kettle - risk of scalding.
Keep an eye on the kettle at all times
during operation.

Important
Only use jug 6 with base 9 marked
CTWK5.
Only fill the kettle with water. Milk or instant
products burn onto inner surfaces and
damage the kettle.
Do not overfill jug 6 or operate it without water.
Observe the max. mark.

Risk of scalding
If the kettle is too full, boiling water may splash
out.
The electric kettle is hot during operation and
remains hot for some time afterwards. For this
reason, only hold the kettle by the handle and
only open lid 2 when it has cooled.
Before first use
Unwind the power cable from integrated
S
cable storage 8 to the length required and
connect to the mains.
Fill jug 6 twice with clean water and allow
S
the water to boil each time to clean the jug
thoroughly.
Add a tablespoon of vinegar before the
S
first boil.
Boiling water
Add fresh water through the spout or
S
opened lid 2 (press lid opening button 3).
Check the amount of water in the kettle
S
using water level indicator 7, observe the
max. mark.
Engage lid 2 to close and place jug 6 on
S
base 9.
Press on/off switch 4, ring lamp 5 lights up
S
blue. The water starts to boil after a while.
The electric kettle switches off
S
automatically once the water has boiled
and the ring lamp goes out.
Info: It is also possible to switch off the kettle
at any time by pressing on/off switch 4 or
lifting jug 6.
