Preliminary work
–
Allow enough time.
–
The optimum ambient temperature for gluing on the graphic
kit is around 15-25°C.
–
Avoid working in full sunlight or strong wind.
–
Find an environment that is as dust-free as possible.
–
Clean the corresponding plastic parts carefully so that no dirt,
grease, or dust remains on the surface.
Assembly
–
Remove the masking paper from the sticker (graphic kit
scope of supply).
–
Position the sticker on the plastic.
Info
As the first reference point, we recommend starting
at a corner. Please fix this point to then spread the
sticker over the complete form. Always use one edge
for orientation.
–
Always guide the squeegee from the inside of the sticker to
the outside.
–
If wrinkles appear at any point, the material can be heated
slightly with the help of a hot-air dryer, making it easier to
strip out.
Info
When using a hot-air dryer, select a distance from the
plastic and temperature that does not damage the sti-
cker. Set the temperature only hand-warm.
–
Repeat these steps on the opposite side.
Final steps
–
We then recommend you double check that the decal is fully
adhered to all surfaces. If smaller air inclusions have formed,
they can be pierced with a needle in order that the sticker
can then be pressed down again (with the help of a hot-air
dryer if need be) and the enclosed air removed.
