Features and Functions

01. Power Light
02. Temperature Warning Light
03. LCD Current Indicator
04. Power Switch
05. Gas Pre-flow Time: sets a pre-weld gas flow time to purge the weld area.
06. Peak Current (amps): sets the welding current in constant current mode and the peak current
in pulse mode.
07. Basic Current (amps): sets the low current level in pulse mode as a % of the peak level
08. Slope Down: sets the slope down time taken after the torch trigger is released, that is the time
for the power to reduce from the set welding current to zero.
09. Arc Force: controls the output current for increased weld power.
10. Pulse Frequency: this function applies the set frequency when using the pulse function.
11. Pulse Duty: sets the balance between the time at the high current level and the low current
level in pulse mode, 50% = equal time high and low.
12. Clean Area Width: sets the balance between the cleaning polarity and the weld polarity, 50% =
equal time clean and weld.
13. Gas Post-flow: sets the post weld gas flow time after the torch trigger is released.
14. AC / DC Switch: selects the output current mode. AC is mainly for welding aluminum and
copper. DC is mainly for stainless steel, carbon steel, low alloy steel etc.
15. 2T / 4T Switch: in 2T the welding starts when the torch trigger is pressed and stops when
released, in 4T the welding starts when the trigger is pressed and is stopped by a second
press and release of the torch trigger.
16. Pulse Function: turns the pulse function on / off.
17. TIG / MMA Switch: toggles between the TIG and MMA welding modes.
18. Negative Terminal
19. TIG Torch Connector
20. HF Frequency Connector
21. Foot Pedal Connector (optional extra)
22. Positive Terminal
23. Power Input
24. Earth Point
25. Gas Supply Input
4
Mode Controls
MMA / ARC: controlled with 9, 14 and 17
