HOW TO PREPARE THE WAFFLE BATTER
 In a mixing bowl, combine the flour with the baking soda, salt, and
sugar. Make a well in the center of the bowl.
Add the egg yolk and milk, gradually working them into the flour

using a spatula.
 Beat gently until smooth.
Carefully stir in the melted butter.

 In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Carefully fold the whites into the batter using a large spoon or whisk.
 Please see above examples for ideas on how to create different
varieties of waffles.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

 Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down
completely.
 Wipe the outside with only a slightly moistened cloth ensuring that
no moisture, oil or grease enters the cooling slots.
 Wipe the inside and the edges of the plate with paper towel or a
soft cloth.
 Do not clean the inside or outside of the unit with any abrasive
scouring pads or steel wool as this will damage the finish.
 If there is any hard-to-remove batter residue baked onto the
cooking plates, we would advise using vegetable oil to soften it,
waiting 5 minutes before removing with a paper towel.
 DO NOT place in the dishwasher.
 NEVER clean or rinse the appliance under running water.
 DO NOT IMMERSE THE WAFFLE MAKER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER
LIQUID.
 Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service
representative.
