USO E MANUTENZIONE 1. AVVERTENZE RIGUARDANTI LA SICUREZZA Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio, leggere attentamente le istruzioni contenute in questo ma- nuale, poiché esso contiene importanti informazioni riguardo alla sicurezza dell’installazione, l’uso e la manutenzione. Il manuale deve essere conservato e trasmesso al nuovo utente in caso di cessione dell’apparecchio. - Page 3 • Evitare di toccare le parti metalliche. 3. ASSEMBLAGGIO E POSIZIONAMENTO La gamma dei riscaldatori Sharklite è stata studiata per offrire la massima flessibilità nel posizionamento. Si possono scegliere le seguenti opzioni: Fissaggio a muro con supporto in alluminio — fig. 2. Prima di forare il muro per fissare i tasselli, assicurarsi che esso sia solido e che sotto non passino condutture elettriche o altro.

6. SOSTITUZIONE DELLA LAMPADA E DEI SUPPORTI IN SILICONE La lampada dello Sharklite è robusta, e, se si evitano vibrazioni e colpi, la sua durata è di circa 5000 ore. Assieme alla lampada devono essere cambiati anche i supporti in silicone, che comunque devono essere sostituiti ancor prima se presentano segni di invecchiamento. -

CAUTION REGARDING THE SECURITY Before using your appliance, read carefully the instructions contained in this booklet, which furnish important information regarding installation, use and maintenance safety. The book- let must be keeped and delivered to the new user in case of cession of the machine. - Page 8 4. USE The Sharklite range consists of a 1200 W heater and an 1800 W heater. The essential ele- ment of the heater is the halogen filled quartz linear lamp with a tungsten element. The heater operates at full output almost immediately. The heating reaches a distance of about 3 meters in front of the appliance.

6. EMITTER AND SILICON BUMPERS REPLACEMENT The emitters used in the Sharklite are robust and if knocks and shock vibrations are avoided, they will last for around 5000 hours. When changing the lamp, also the silicon bumpers con- nected with the lamp must be substituted. They should be substituted even before if there are signs of aging. -

6. REMPLACEMENT DE LA LAMPE ET DES SUPPORTS EN SILICONE La lampe du Sharklite est robuste et si l’on évite des vibrations et des coups la durée de la lampe est d’environ 5000 heures. Quand on change la lampe il faut aussi changer les supports en silicone, qui de toute façon doivent être remplacés avant s’ils présentent... -

5. WARTUNG Der Heizer Sharklite enthält keine sich bewegenden Teile, somit ist die Wartung begrenzt. Es ist lediglich zu prüfen, dass sich kein Staub oder Schmutz auf der reflektierenden Parabel oder auf der Lampe befindet, was zu Überhitzung und Verkürzung der Lebensdauer der Lam- pe führen könnte. -

6. SUSTITUCIÓN DE LA LÁMPARA Y DE LOS SOPORTES EN SILICONA La lámpara del aparato Sharklite es resistente y su vida dura casi 5000 horas evitando movi- mientos bruscos y golpes. Al sustituir la lámpara hay que sustituir también los soportes en silicona que, en cualquier caso, necesitan reemplazarse antes si resultan deteriorados. -
