Patek Philippe's Travel Time wristwatch
simultaneously display the time in two different
time zones and features two hour hands that indi-
cate the time at a reference location (such as the
town where you live or work) and the local time at
your current location. When the two hour hands
are superimposed, the hands indicate home time
(the time in the town where you live or work).
When you travel to a different time zone, set the
hour hand to the local time at your destination.
The skeletonized hand continues to display your
home time. A 24-hour subsidiary dial at 12 o'clock
indicates whether it is currently day or night in
your home town. The subsidiary seconds dial is
located at 6 o'clock.
The push pieces in the case at 8 and 10 o'clock are
used to move the hour hand for local time clock-
wise or counterclockwise in one-hour steps. If you
are eastbound, press the push piece at 8 o'clock to
move the local hour hand forward. Press it as many
times as the number of time zones you cross. If you
are westbound, press the push piece at 10 o'clock
to move the local hour hand backward. Press it as
many times as the number of time zones you cross.
